I am someone who does not enjoy riding exercise bikes or doing things strictly for the purpose of getting exercise. I would much rather find a regular activity that I can depend on which has the exercise factor included. For example, I walk between my house and my parent's house a couple of times a day at least. There is some distance between our houses and I do feel I get a little baseline exercise from doing this. It is really too close to drive the car. If I could find other activities like this, I would much prefer getting my exercise in that way. Just activity is good. If I am cleaning then I am being active and this counts also. There are activity calculators available online which will tell you how many calories you burn with so many minutes of simple activity. It will even calculate the activity in grocery shopping. It all adds up!
