I was diagnosed with diabetes in 2009. I have gotten my A1C levels down, but I still have to take daily medication. This disease makes me feel horrible sometimes. I have researched weight loss surgery to try and get rid of it even though I am not morbidly obese. I have cut out all soda and sweets in my diet and try to do my best to always eat meats, fresh fruits and vegetables and low carb breads. What are some other foods that might help me win this battle against diabetes?
