C'mon now...........this thread is stupid. Anyone with a brain in their head knows that crap isn't good for you. Do we really need a thread asking if CHIPS are a healthy food? Ridiculous........
Yes, I think you already know the answer to this. They are a processed food. They are high in salt. Do I sometimes eat them? Yes but I don't try to fool myself that they are super healthy.
The main problem with Pringles and other similar snacks is not just that they are unhealthy - they are addictive, and you won't stop at just a few. I've stopped buying those sort of snacks unless we have visitors or are entertaining, because I know I'm going to eat them. If they're not in the house, I won't go out to buy them, but if they're there, they call me, and my good intentions go in the trash with the empty Pringles packet.
I have not eaten these in so long!
They taste okay, but they are way too salty.
I think if you keep eating them you'll get a heart murmur or something.
In general any kind of chip is not the best thing for your diet, but I find that Pringles are the lesser of evils, so to speak. If you must eat something that is not healthy, then Pringles have less calories than the average chip. I prefer Pringles over most chips of any other type. If you are trying to have a healthier diet, there are recipes out on the web for making baked celery chips for dipping in salsa. Hot salsa and picante has a tendency to boost metabolism a little bit. It will not be a significant boost, but it helps a small bit. I try to avoid eating too many snacks of any kind since the only way to have optimal health is to eat natural foods. If you pick up a label and it doesn't state simply "vegetable" or "meat" then it's not the best thing to put in your body. Chips have a large quantity of unidentifiable ingredients. Stick to things with ingredients you can recognize and you won't go wrong.
They are good for the mouth/taste but bad for your body/health!
Even though I know they are bad, I still love eating chips! LOL I can't help it but once every two weeks is alright since I work out a lot (3 or 4 times a week).

Yes, they're very bad. i don't even think that they can do your body any good. They have way too much salt. Too much salt will eventually lead to kidney problems. And the reason why they are called junk foods is because you can't get anything good from them.
Pringles(or any chip sold in a tube) > any other potato chips out there.
With that said, junk. I consider it to be gourmet junk by comparison. But at the end of the day, it's still junk.
Yes, they are bad for our health because they are processed junk foods but if you have an urge to eat some Pringles then just make sure you are not overdoing it. One thing for sure is that this might make you happy for now and if not controlled can make you look bad later. So we have to be careful.

Definitely not good for our health. I used to eat some chips when I was younger, thinking it's not that bad, but hey, wisdom comes with the years, I just avoid it completely. There are much healthier alternatives if you want to snack something. Usually when people start with chips, they finish the whole bag, well, that's not going to do much good for your body if you do that often.
