I started intermittent fasting around a month ago, not because it's the latest 'trend' but because I felt it would suit my lifestyle better (not having to prep 6 meals a day etc)... My diet has progessively improved and adjusted since starting IF and I now aim for a calorie deficit on non-training days and a calorie surplus on training days, HOWEVER, I've read and watched so many videos on people shredding fat, getting leaner whilst gaining muscle on IF yet I have done neither. I track my macros, I drink minimum 2 litres of water a day yet I still have a high fat boy percentage (alot of fat around the belly) and no muscle gains for a while... Can anyone on IF give me some advice, maybe I'm expecting results too soon or maybe I'm doing something wrong.
