I agree 100%. I'd rather be FREEZING than even mildly hot......yes really - the heat makes me feel nasty and immobile - i get hot really easily and Id rather have cold rather...better to be cold and get warm than to be warm and get cooled down.

I looooove cooler weather! I don't have air conditioning, so even a mild day can crank up the temp in my apartment. I become too sluggish to do anything. I love, love, love that it's fall now and cooling off!
...I have much less energy in the winter, as all I want to do is to stay warm. That means I am bundled up, or under warm blankets. I think that I have much more energy in the spring and summer time. plus I am more mentally alert in the spring and summertime. Maybe it's the fact that there is more sunshine.
I am the opposite! When cold weather hits, I like to curl up under a warm, fuzzy blanket with a nice hot drink in hand and watch a good movie! It also makes me want to bake quick breads, cookies, and make soups, stews and chilis. Warm/hot weather gets me going, both inside the house and outside! I love going swimming with the kids.I know that I always seem to have a bit more energy in the fall and winter. I don't always react well to heat and sun. The cooler temperatures seem to be good for my metabolism, and somehow give me a boost! Anyone else feel this way?
I'm maybe the opposite I am more energetic when it's hot because I sweat easily and thus makes my body want to move more. I get really lazy when the weather is cold, it's harder to sweat and I need to force or motivate myself to workout.
I really hate the stickyness of working out during very hot and humid weather. Therefore, I prefer to workout during the fall and spring. These are the best temperatures for me to work out. Winter is a bit too cold and messes up with my breathing during a run. I hate that painful chest feeling from cold air. Sweating during very cold temperatures also tend to get me sick easier.
so does cold weather really make you more energetic and more focus and capable of getting more work accomplished in a shorter amount of time? well let's look at the factors:
1) allegedly, the end of daylight savings time puts your body back into its natural circadian sleep rhythm, so you sleep better supposedly
2) the cold keeps your body fighting to stay warm, thus more energetic and higher burning because of keeping body temperature
3) the cold keeps you focused on work inside because you do not long to be where the weather is nice and warm outside
4) the cold keeps your body cooled during workout time so that it does not have to expel more energy cooling, but more energy working
these are ALL perceptual indicators, but what do you think about some of those 4 suggestions? are they right on? are they off? your thoughts please.
cold weather makes me feel more tired...even with the daylight savings time, I'm sleeping in longer in the mornings than I was before DST
I just enjoy my warmth and would rather lay somewhere with a blanket
If I am hot and I get a nice breeze then I do feel like I am getting energy. However if I am too cold for too long, I tend to get snuffed up and usually don't feel good after a while. I prefer hot weather to cold but I love the snow. Rain is something I quite hate.

I also feel more energetic and would want to go out when it is cold than it was hot. I an not stand being out when it was so hot and sometimes if I really need to go out during hot weather, I end up feeling tired and sometimes even have a headache. So I usually go out late in the afternoon or night time. If its too cold and weather is bad outside, would want to just stay home, use the computer, eat and sleep.
