@SS42A....Wow, that's quite a feat....well done to you! There are times when I wish I'd waited until I'd met my husband, the only man worthy of such a special gift.
I personally thought that sex used to boost your blood flow, however, seems like it's all the opposite, I do not really know whether it's good or not, but having a good blood flow must be really important for our heart's health, thank you for sharing this, it's really useful!
Pregnancy issues are also a drain on your financial resources, such that if your girlfriend is carrying a child after having sex, you will have to deal with issues as a father. It is quite lonely if you don't have a girlfriend yet, but come to think of it, being single enables me to think for myself without worrying about others. Besides, I have gotten used to being single.Of course, there are advantages of not having sex. For one, you save a lot of money. True, many girls would have sex with you and claim that they are not doing it for money. However, to get to the point where they would willingly have sex with you, you would first have to spend quite a considerable sum of money. Two, not having sex means not having to worry about STD. There's no way you can contract any kind of STD without sex. One less thing to worry about.
Oh, there's also another advantage. Not having sex means not having anyone to worry about. You are living a solo life and you only have to worry about yourself.
I haven't had sex for a much longer time than you, but all I seem to be able to do is eat too much. I need to do Zumba.I've read all about these benefits before and the first time I did, I laughed and asked why people had to think up benefits for sex when you need no excuses at all to do it. Just do it! Haha! Well, I haven't had sex for the past 5 years and I think I'm thriving with all 'alternative' exercises like swimming, zumba, brisk walking, and some housework chores.

@Striver, that's an interesting one LOL I don't know if I've ever heard of that one before. But I remember someone telling me that it helps with their PMS. I don't know how true that is though. sex seems to have many benefits, some of which we don't know!
Well I would say that outside of the good cardio and actual physical benefits, the mental benefits have to be considered too. I am just much more lively and active and confident, and that really translates into the workload and the schoolwork, and makes for a better day. It is not always this way of course, but more often than not I would say it is good for it.
Of course there are great benefits to anything that makes you feel that good. Just feeling good (whether from sex or from doing some other kind of exercise) will net you some of those benefits like:
Lowering your blood pressure
Improving Cardiovascular Health, self esteem, general health and well-being and so on.
Sex is just more... fun!
