Hey Derek, I can ask you something about the forum?

Can you implement a notification icon to the threads that for example I wrote and people replied after me?

It would be nice to be able to keep track on the replies after my posts.

Please let me know if this is feasible

I think I have seen that feature before. It's right up at the top left corner, right next to the avatar of the person logged in. I think it's a standard feature of SMF.

Hmmm I tried to look for it but I didn't see. Maybe I am blind. LOL
For example on another forum, there is a notification bar that displays how many replies you have got etc. This would be helpful to the users to know who commented after them. Just like on Facebook.

I agree with you, that is really a good feature. However, I noticed that only forums that use Xenforo software has it. I am not sure yet but I haven't seen any forum which uses vBulletin that has that feature covered. It would be nice if it can be added here so we can keep track of the replies to our posts.

I actually like that feature with some other forums I am a member of. It can create a little excitement and continuity of discussion. However, as Cecil is saying, I think that is used mostly by the Xenforo program and shs is not a Xenforo forum. I am not aware if it is possible to customize that feature to this forum though. Though I am very satisfied with the way SHS is, having that feature would be an exciting addition if in case it can be added.

I love that idea. Sometimes, I am missing those people who replied to my posts or those who quoted my post. It would be much interactive if you can keep track and keep the conversation going.

My friend, you have to read the thread from the beginning to find out what has been discussed so far. You can't just jump in at the end and expect to understand. That's not really that difficult, right?

For many, yes. Unfortunately, reading the entire thread is not the strong point of many...although in this specific case I believe we are dealing with a wannabe spammer.

Obviously, Fantomaz is a spammer who can just be looking for an opportunity to strike and brazenly promote his business of selling penile enlargement products on our forum. We are now witnessing a constant barrage of spamming here that is why I am also helping by deleting spammy posts.
