What sounds more enjoyable, eating vegetables, or eating your favorite desserts? Snacking on cookies, chips and candy, or eating fruit? When you are thirsty, would you rather drink your favorite beverage, or water? After you worked a tough 8 or 9 hour day do you want to go to the gym and workout, or have some ice cream and watch TV, or play on the computer? How often has this happened to you where friends and relatives know you are trying to lose weight, but say anyway to try a piece of dessert, adding "don't worry about it, you look fine," or "you don't need to lose anymore weight," and continue the pressure until you finally give in.
