COLUMBIA, S.C. ó Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is appearing in South Carolina just weeks before a self-imposed deadline to decide whether he will run for president.

Bush is scheduled to give Mondayís commencement address at the University of South Carolina. It marks the Republican leaderís second visit in three months to the state that will host the 2016 presidential primary seasonís first contest in the South.

The visit comes as Bush drops new hints about his 2016 intentions.

He told a Miami television station over the weekend that he thinks he would be a good president. He also announced plans to release an e-book while making public about 250,000 emails from his time in office.

Bush has said he would make a decision about his political future by the monthís end.
