Just like landlines and VHS tapes, inhalers may become a thing of the past.

According to the Lancet Respiratory Medicine, a new experimental pill could help adults who suffer from severe asthma making toting around an inhaler obsolete.

The pill, Fevipiprant, works by reducing inflammation in the airways, making it easier to breathe.

A study of 60 severe- asthma sufferers by the University of Leicester found that when given the pill, patients saw nearly-instant improvement.
