is it worth it
is it worth it
it is not. Do not consume steroids. They are considered a drug , and as a drug , you will feel the need of injecting it into your body everyday. Also , with all the muscles you will get , you will tend to use it more and more , which is not healthy for you. A good workout and a diet plan will get you as many muscles as a steroid would get you ,but in a more healthy way.
I don't see why you can't show off your results without having to go with steroids to increase muscle mass. Can't you just work it out on your own, without any artificial help? I'm pretty sure it will be more rewarding when that time comes, and you wouldn't have the resulting health problems that come with long term steroid use, such as hypogonadism, a decreased immune system, and sometimes even emotional instability that comes with roid rage. Why risk it when you can just work out regularly?
Personally I have suffered from a lot of side effects due to steroids like
- High blood pressure
- Hair loss
I know I might have just chosen the wrong steroids but since then I like to keep away from these, because the side-effects are simply horrible and they take a long time to die down and till then your workout would get impacted as well.
Steriods is not worth it. The brother of my sister in law is using steriods because before he is into body building and he likes to have big muscles. In the long he suffered kidney failure which is the effect of that drug and it damaged his kidneys. That is why he went to a dialysis and kidney transplant but still he died at the age of 30 plus still young. He had left a wife and 1 daughter who was still young at that time and the wife was pregnant to their son when he died. Just sharing the story.
Depends if it is your livelihood and paycheck or not. For most people, no, steroids are not worth the risks. For some athletes, the fact that the fans want to see "Bigger, Stronger, and Faster" makes it all worth it...even if they die prematurely. It depends who you ask...
Steroids are not worth it. They are a short cut to gaining muscle mass. They are only beneficial in the short run but really detrimental in the long run. Once you start using them, you have to continue with the regimen otherwise the converse will happen in the form of muscle atrophy. Steroids have also been implicated as cancer causing agents. The old saying that hurry hurry has no blessing can't be gainsaid.

There are products that claim to have the same effects as steroids but none of its bad effects but I don't know if they're effective or not. I can't blame the athletes though for using steroids because athletes do have a very short career span and they would want to make the most of it. Some people would also try to take it to get faster results and stop the cycle altogether when they have achieved their target bulk.
